PRAWNS TIKKA

These prawns tikka's are delicious, with wonderful aroma of curry leaves and Indian spices. How simple these delicious prawn tikka's are to make! 


INGREDIENTS:-

20 nos Prawns 
1 tsp Tikka masala
2 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
1 tsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Thick yogurt
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 tbsp cornflour
Handful of curry leaves
salt to taste
skewers
a pinch of red colour
oil

METHOD:-
  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan and add curry leaves, fry on a medium low heat till it become crisp. Take it out and allow it cool. crush the curry leaves between the palms and keep it ready.
  2. Soak skewers for about 1 hour.
  3. Clean the prawns and squeeze out the excess moisture from the prawns.
  4. Combine all the ingredients except oil, marinate for 1 hour.
  5. Thread the prawns onto skewers leaving some space between each.
  6. Cook the marinated prawns on a grill pan for 4-5 minutes each side.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
